When Attila returned from his travels through Europe’s most refined and exclusive boutiques and fairs, he realized a glaring absence: Sweden lacked a place for authentic, high-quality culture around BDSM, fetish and alternative fashion. He had experienced how it could be done – with respect, knowledge and elegance – and knew there was a need for something similar at home.
History of Chambers of Love
In 2008, Attila Dobor started a small online store with a vision: to create Scandinavia’s first truly professional platform for BDSM and fetish – a place where quality, discretion and human values were at the center.
We started at markets and fairs in Sweden, Norway and Finland. In 2013, we opened our first physical store in central Stockholm – a place that is still the heart of our business.

European focus, global vision
Chambers of Love is a European player. We pay our suppliers in euros and their local currencies - never in US dollars. It is a conscious choice that reflects our values and strengthens our relationships with local partners.
Since 2021, we have had a full-time agent in China who strengthens our supplier contacts and product development. We invest in advanced technology to ensure the highest standards.
